Terms of Service

Agreement

These terms govern your use of the text2shader website and rendering service. By using the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. During early access, accounts and rendering are for adults aged 18 or older in the United States. If you act for a company, you must be authorized to accept these terms for it.

The service

text2shader turns a written prompt into an animated scene, including a live web embed and downloadable video. Results can vary, and a render may fail or may not match your prompt. We may change, suspend, or stop the service at any time, and may remove content or accounts at any time. We do not promise uninterrupted service or perpetual hosting of free renders.

Your account

You sign in through Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to it secure. Give us accurate information and tell us promptly if you believe someone has used your account without permission.

Your prompts and renders

You are responsible for the prompts you submit and how you use, publish, or distribute the resulting renders. You must have the rights needed for material in your prompts and for your intended use of each result. Results may be similar to material created for other users and may not be unique. You keep your rights in your prompts. Subject to others’ rights and applicable law, you may use your renders commercially. Results may not qualify for exclusive rights.

Completed renders are hosted at public URLs. Anyone with a URL can view, copy, or share the render without signing in. The public embed file contains the scene data and shader source. Deleting a render removes its files from our origin storage after any active publication has stopped. When cleanup finishes, its hosted files are no longer served. Copies that other people have already downloaded or reshared are outside our control.

You allow text2shader to process your prompts and results to create, host, deliver, and support your renders. This permission ends when the relevant content is deleted from our active systems, subject to the retention described in our Privacy Policy. We will not use your renders in marketing without separate consent.

Acceptable use

You may not submit illegal content or use the service or its outputs illegally, or to:

• infringe another person’s rights;
• create adult content or generated human faces;
• create any sexual content involving minors;
• harass or threaten anyone;
• create malware, attack systems, or disrupt the service;
• scrape or abuse the API beyond its limits;
• bypass safety checks, rate limits, or access controls;
• access another person’s account or data without permission;
• deceive others with an output, including impersonation; or
• resell or automate access in a way we have not authorized.

Report misuse or request a takedown at support@text2shader.com. We remove content we determine violates these terms.

Credits

Early access is free; paid checkout is closed. Rendering uses free credits. If a credit-funded render fails, the service returns its charged credit. A completed render that disappoints you does not automatically qualify for a credit return.

An eligible completed render offers one free regeneration using the same prompt. It keeps the original and creates a separate result without charging credits. The free attempt is used when the service accepts it, including if it later fails or is deleted. A request refused before acceptance does not use the attempt. The regenerated result does not include another free regeneration. Normal eligibility and service limits still apply.

Third-party services

The service relies on third parties, including Google for sign-in, Cloudflare for hosting and delivery, and OpenRouter and generation providers for processing prompts. Their terms and privacy policies may apply to their parts of the service. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services that we do not control.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. You may delete renders in your account or delete your account at your account page. Contact support@text2shader.com if you need help.

Disclaimers and liability

The free service is provided as-is, with no warranties. We do not promise that every render will succeed, be unique, or fit a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, text2shader and the people operating it are not liable for losses from your use of the service. While the service is free, their total liability to you is capped at $0.

You agree to indemnify text2shader and the people operating it against third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs caused by your misuse of the service or its outputs, to the extent allowed by law. Mandatory rights under applicable law still apply.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will post the revised terms here and update the date above.
